The only thing more surprising than Donald Trump running for president is the idea that he actually won.

One thing that I’ve found very surprising about this election is the fact that a lot of people who have been asked why they voted for Donald Trump sound more coherent about what Donald Trump can do for the country than The Donald himself.

The rest…not so much.

Despite the sex scandals, the court cases against him, the fact that he does not pay his taxes, his twitter trolling, Melania’s repeated plagiarism and the videos that kept on coming out – Donald Trump maintained his voters in the face of scandals that would have rendered literally anyone else’s campaign null and void and he came out victorious.

So we’ve got to admit, the man is pretty resilient.

And do you know what this resilience has earned him? Other than quite the number of celebrity endorsements, it earned him victory.

Many from those you’d expect but some might just surprise you.

First up on our list of those you’d expect is:

Gary Busey

In case you’re not familiar with the name, that is simply because he is not as famous as he used to be.

Gary Busey has starred in over 150 films and some of them are your favourites. He appeared in Lethal Weapon, Predator 2, Point Break, Under Siege, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and The Buddy Holly Story where he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of Buddy Holly.

He endorsed Donald when he told Fox411, “He’s a great guy. He’s sharp. He’s fast. He can change the country after the last eight years.”

And then there’s Stacey Dash

Stacey Dash has made news in recent years because of her controversial statements and standpoints.

She made headlines again when she endorsed Donald Trump.

The 49-year old received her big break when she played Cher’s best friend – Dionne Davenport – in the 1995 hit movie, Clueless.

Thanks to her recent trackings, no one was completely surprised when she the threw her support fully behind Donald Trump, even promising to help him acquire the ‘black votes’.

Among the celebrities you might not expect, we have:

Mike Tyson

I think a lot of people were genuinely surprised when everyone’s second favourite boxer decided Donald Trump was his man this election.

“He should be president of the United States … Let’s try something new.” Mr Tyson said, “Let’s run America like a business, where no colors matter. Whoever can do the job, gets the job … I like Trump,” He stated.

Bruce Willis

To be fair, we’re not entirely sure if this was an actual endorsement or just Bruce having fun with Jimmy Fallon.

Either way, a lot of people were surprised when Bruce Willis appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon dressed as Donald Trump (complete with the hair too) wearing a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat.

What’s even more surprising than Donald Trumps many, many celebrity endorsements is the fact that Donald Trump actually has Latino Supporters.

Yes, really.

Despite what you would have heard Trump say about Latinos and immigrants as a whole – he has still managed to amass more following than expected among the community.

When asked why he would support Donald Trump, Diego Milla, a 30-year-old chess instructor from Miami, had this to say:

“When I first heard about how Trump announced his campaign I thought, ‘Wow, that’s extremely racist what he’s saying.’ And then I heard one of his speeches, one of those rallies that he does. After I heard him speak, I thought, ‘Wow, this guy is amazing.’ So I went and I rewatched his whole announcement. I heard the whole speech in full context. I realized that he’s not referring to all Mexicans. He’s talking about a reality that is taking place on the border, where a lot of people get raped when they are crossing the border — especially women, who are getting raped by Mexicans. A lot of criminals do cross the border. I know, because I worked in immigration.

Beyond his immigration stance, it’s the way he speaks. He sounds a lot more genuine than other candidates. He seems like a human being and the others see like robots. He’s a businessman. I like that he’s hired thousands of Latinos in his companies.”

Like, I said earlier – his supporters are more coherent about his policies than he is.
